There are some things I talk about like tone woods and I am beginning to talk about neck shapes and other sorts of guitar things. So I am going to post some resource links where you can learn a little bit more about what I am talking about.
I am a huge Taylor fan and this has been a wonderful resource. It has a tone range diagram which I find useful. Unfortunately, ash and alder have been left out because Taylor doesn’t build with them. However, they are both strong in the high and mid frequency range and then start to drop off on the low end. I add this because fender uses almost exclusively ash and alder woods.
